Guided Meditations & BreathWork

Morning Meditation

A morning meditation session is designed to start the day with gratitude and intention. Participants will engage in a brief period of quiet reflection, focusing on their breath and becoming more aware of their intentions for the day ahead. Themes may vary but often center around cultivating a sense of gratitude and purpose to foster mindfulness and resilience throughout the day. Throughout the session, we will work to engage in living a very mindful day, consciously directing our actions, energy, and focus towards what we feel is beneficial for our well-being.

Impermanence Meditation

In this guided session, we gently direct our attention to the ever-changing nature of existence, both within ourselves and in the world around us. Through this practice, we cultivate an acceptance of impermanence as a fundamental aspect of life. By acknowledging that change is inevitable and beyond our control, we learn to let go of attachments and find peace in the present moment. This meditation encourages us to embrace the transient nature of all things and to respond with grace and resilience to the inevitable flux of life.

Body Scan Meditation

A guided session blending mindfulness and meditation, participants suspend judgment and fully immerse themselves in a body scan. Through this practice, we observe various sensations arising in our body and mind without evaluating or analyzing them. This allows us to cultivate a deep sense of presence and awareness, embracing each moment as it unfolds. Throughout the session, we focus on non-judgmental observation, exploring the physical and mental sensations that arise during the body scan, fostering a state of deep relaxation and inner peace.

Pranayama Session

A guided practice focusing on different breathing techniques from the yoga tradition. During the session, participants will be led through a sequence of various pranayama exercises, including but not limited to, deep belly breathing (diaphragmatic breathing), alternate nostril breathing (Nadi Shodhana), and rhythmic breathing (Sama Vritti). These techniques are sequenced and practiced in a structured manner to optimize their benefits.

Participants will learn to regulate their breath, increase awareness of their breath patterns, and explore the connection between breath and mind. Benefits of pranayama practice include stress reduction, improved concentration, enhanced respiratory function, and overall relaxation of the body and mind.
